Buying Information
The Virtual Gallery cc Manages and owns the site www.tanzanitegallery.com., which promotes and sells Certified Tanzanite Jewelry.
Credit Cards and Security
To purchase online is very easy. We accept all major credit cards, and your credit cards details are stored securely. We use 128 bit encryption technology and SSL (Shared Socket Layer) which is the industry standard for online ecommerce transactions. This means that your credit card details are encrypted using the most secure protocol that is available online for credit card transactions. We want you to be 100% assured that you are protected and our site is designed to protect you the customer.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by The Virtual Gallery cc separately from card details which are entered using SSL , Secure Socket Layer, so that your Credit Card Information is always encrypted.
Packing and shipping
All our Tanzanite Jewelry is shipped Securely with an established Security shipper who specialises in the shipping of Jewelry and high value items. The shipment is made through a secure door to door transit, using established security procedures for high value items.
Address Verification
We implement anti fraud measures in order to protect you our Valued Customer. We will only ship Tanzanite Jewelry to the address on the Credit Card being used for purchase. This is one of the measures we will use for anti fraud detection. We may also request from our customers further details to enable us to combat fraud. For our high value items, we will request the customer to produce a valid original ID or Passport to the Company which is delivering our shipment. This is also an anti fraud measure to protect you the customer. In the near future we will be moving to Visa/MasterCard secure Pin system for online payment.
Tax and Custom Duty
All our Tanzanite Jewelry is sold to the customer exclusive of Local Tax and Custom Duty, and hence our Prices are exclusive of local tax and customs duty. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to ensure that these obligations are met locally. All our Tanzanite Jewelry are sent with a Pro forma Invoice.
Confidentiality
We undertake to keep all our customers information confidential and will not be shared with a third party, the exception being is the credit card details will be released to the Card Processing Gateway for secure Processing. We process our customers credit cards in two ways, either using a Card terminal or through a secure gateway.
Returns and Refund Policy
The company will refund any Tanzanite Jewelry that is delivered , if the Jewelry is damaged. The company must be notified within five days of delivery of the Tanzanite Jewelry. The total amount refunded will be the net amount less shipping and handling fees.

The Virtual Gallery cc takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods (Tanzanite Jewelry) and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and The Virtual Gallery cc chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
